New Apple iPhone 7 Leaked Images Showcase Three Different Variants, Gorilla Glass 5 Will make the iPhone 7 A Potentially Indestructible Device!

News and rumors about Apple iPhone 7 died down for a few months, but they are back with a bang. The latest information suggests that Apple will release three new iPhone models in September. They are the iPhone 7, the iPhone 7 Plus and the Pro.

From the looks of it, someone snapped a photo of them placed side by side. The photos were acquired by Nowhereelse.fr which is one of the most accurate and popular leak sites on the internet at the moment. The three devices are showntogether, and this means some good and bad news for the potential buyers.

The good news is that iPhone 7 Pro is the top model. It has the much-awaited Dual Lens back camera along with a Smart Connector, as revealed by the three dots located on its lower back portion. With this feature, connected peripherals will simultaneously share data and power.

At the moment, it is only available on the iPad Pro. Sadly, the bad news is that the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus models won’t be getting this new feature. Therefore, fans who want the dual-lens but will not be able to afford the iPhone 7 Pro, are in for a major disappointment. Moreover, the iPhone 7 Pro looks even bigger than the Plus.

It is also a problem since this means that he 4.7inch iPhone 7 model will be discarded from the competition. However, the 4.7inch model still outsells its elder brother (the Plus!). Therefore, things could remain the same when iPhone 7 releases.

What we need to know is whether these leaks are true? Considering the track record of NEW (all major Samsung and Apple launches for the last two generations were confirmed), the reports suggest a lot.

However, the source which claimed that iPhone 7would have a Pro variant, emerged in March, and it was the most famous Apple analyst in the market, KGI Securities’ Ming-Chi Kuo. Kuo hasn’t said anything more about the Pro, but it clearly indicates that the variant has now been confirmed by two heavyweight sources.

Apple iPhones have been protected by Gorilla Glass displays ever since they were released. With the announcement of the new Gorilla Glass 5, a sturdier and resilient variant of this display will be available on the iPhone 7. For many years, cracked iPhone displays have been a major problem. Everyone has a few friends with cracked iPhone displays.

With Corning Gorilla Glass 5, the displays offer a lot of protection with accidental drops. Lab tests from Corning have revealed that Gorilla Glass displays stayed intact during 80% of the drops which occurred from as high as 5 feet 9.

During a press release, John Bayne of Corning revealed that with each new generation of Corning Gorilla Glass, the glass technology protection had been taken to new and improved levels. Corning further noted that Gorilla Glass 5 would be used on commercial products from various global brands, later in this year.

Meanwhile, reports in February suggested that TSMC, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company has become the proper manufacturer of Apple A10 processors which will power the upcoming iPhone models. A new report from Digitimes suggests that the TSMC exclusivity will be featured on the Apple A11 processors as well.

These processors will be used in the Apple iPhone 8 models which launch in 2018. According to the latest reports, themajority of processor chips will be produced by TSMC. In thecase of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S Plus, production of the A9 chipset was divided amongst TSMC and Samsung. The DigiTimes report further pointed out that they will use the 10nm FinFET process for manufacturing the A11 processor.
