Keep in mind that the invitation sent out by Motorola did not specify whether the device to be unveiled will, in case the event is a launch event. The latest rumors suggest that the company could unveil the long rumored Motorola Moto G4 midrange smartphone or even the new Moto X 2016 Flagship device.
A new report indicates that the company event will surely feature a new device launch. The rumored spec sheet suggests that the new device will have a metal frame and a plastic back panel. At the same time, a premium variant is expected as well.
The rumored Moto G4 Plus will undoubtedly be the premium version with a fingerprint sensor embedded on the home button but the base G4 model will not have it. Both of these devices have been tipped to sport the same screen size.
You can be sure that each of these devise will have a minimum 16GB internal storage capacity. Further rumors indicate that the new Moto X will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset with quad-core CPU running at 1.59GHz under the hood. The device will run on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 and will feature 4GB of RAM.
