Mortal Kombat X Delayed For Old-Gen Consoles, New Android Gameplay Demo Video Releases!

According to recent reports, Mortal Kombat X will be making its debut on IOS and Android mobile operating systems. Ever since the earliest days of gaming, Mortal Kombat has been a really popular title worldwide. Kids started playing it on slot machines in the early 90s. The next installment in the Mortal Kombat franchise is about to make its way to mobile devices in the near future. The first demo videos of Mortal Kombat X running on Android has surfaced already. The demo video clearly shows that almost all the original console game features have been included for the mobile platform.

Features like the excellent new animation with X-Ray vision, all the wicked deaths and the bloodthirsty fatalities are all included in mobile versions. Mortal Kombat X has been tailor-made for the touch interface of mobile devices. If you check out the first video demo, you will notice characters like Kitana, Reptile, Scorpion, Sub-Zero and a few brand new heroes from the future.

A lot of news reports, rumors and speculations regarding Mortal Kombat keep surfacing this week. The topic has achieved a whole new level of excitement among gamers all over the world. Recently, Warner Bros. confirmed that the Mortal Kombat X season pass will include two extra characters that users can play as. A few hours later, Warner Bros. again confirmed that Mortal Kombat X release dates for older console platforms have been delayed.

In a statement sent to Game Informer, Warner Bros. confirmed that Mortal Kombat X would release on 14th April for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. In the same news, the publisher further declared that the game won’t make it to the shelves for older generation consoles till the present-gen console versions are arrive. Sadly, those versions of the game won’t be hitting shelves until this summer.

On a happier note, Warner Bros. stated the addition of two new playable characters in the final version of the game, which users weren’t expecting at all. After buyers grab hold of the $29.99 Kombat Pack for Mortal Kombat X, they will receive Jason Voorhees. He will be further accompanied by a guest star and two other characters from the game’s archive. Furthermore, users also get Ronin Kenshi, Samurai Shinnok, and Jingu Kitana skins to be used in the game.
