Minecraft Update Patch 1.19 Notes for PS3, PS4 and PS Vita, Story Mode Lets Players Select Skin Tones and Gender, More Details

Telltale’s Minecraft Story Mode’s first trailer was released in July at Minecon and it revealed that players could control a character named Jesse, who was played by actor Patton Oswalt. The trailer detailed that Jesse and his team respect the Legendary Order of the Stone. They are the four adventurers who slayed an Ender Dragon.

Meanwhile, at Endergonic, Jesse and his friends discovered that something was amiss and it was something incredibly dreadful. With the terror unleashed, the adventurers must set out to discover The Order of the Stone in order to save the world from oblivion.

Meanwhile, Patton Oswalt is a really great guy but what if players don’t really wish to play as him. If some players actually wanted to play as a girl, there’s good news for you. According to the recent announcement, Telltale’s Minecraft will have a Story Mode that features a character where you are at full liberty to choose the appearance.

According to their official blog release, players will be able to choose from various different options chosen for both male and female versions of the game. Although Oswalt voices the male character of Jesse, the female version will be voice-acted by Catherine Taber. He has been in the voice acting business since 2003.

He has got a line of credits that include titles like Knights of the Old Republic, Final Fantasy XII, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, The Secret World along with many others.

There are many other cast members like Brian Posehn, Ashley Johnson, Scott Porter, Martha Plimpton, Dave Fennoy, Corey Feldman, and Billy West along with Paul Reubens. Recently, there are many new screens which depict both the male and female Jesse and there are various skin tone options as well. At the same time, you will be able to play as any character you want. The story mode for Minecraft is all set to release this fall.

Meanwhile, the Star Wars Minecraft Skin packs were earlier available on the Xbox but presently, two new Star Wars Minecraft skin packs have been introduced for the PlayStation as well. The first pack is known as the Classic Skin Pack and this combines seven different versions of Luke Skywalker, Leia, and Chewbacca along with other popular Star Wars characters like Obi-Wan Kenobi, C-3PO and also Han Solo.

At the same time, the Star Wars rebel pack also offers skins for various characters like Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, Hera Syndulla, along with the astromech Chopper. Presently, these packs have been made available for the PlayStation 3 for $3 each.

In the meantime, Minecraft Update Patch 1.19 has been released for PS3, PS4 along with PS Vita consoles. According to Direct Link Download, this update should be available for these consoles in Japan and Europe.

Furthermore, the update will be later released in North America. There are a ton of issues that have been fixed by the new update patch. It also adds support for the Star Wars skin packs. It comes with additions that will get you hyped for the Star Wars: The Force Awakens release during this December. There are several new fixes that have been introduced with the new update.   • When you are adding and removing players for the game, the instability that was present has been fixed.
  • The particle effect problems at high altitudes have been fixed.
