Minecraft Receives Brand New Battle Mini Game, Retail Version of Minecraft Wii U Edition Released!

It was just recently revealed by Nintendo that a physical edition of Minecraft has been released for the Wii U. The game had a digital release for the said platform back in December 2015. The physical version of the game comes packed with the Super Mario Mash-Up Pack.

This pack comes with some downloadable models and textures based on the Super Mario series that can be appended to the game. Some other things that physical version comes with are- City Texture Packs, Fantasy Texture Packs, Festive Mash-Up, Battle and Beasts Skin Pack, Battle and Beast 2 Skin Pack and Natural Texture Packs.

The price tag of which the retail version comes is $30. It should be mentioned here that the digital version too came with a $30 price tag.

A new update- update 1.28 has been rolled out for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions of the game. However, the update is currently only available in Japan and Europe.

This is the update that came with the Battle mini-game. Apart from the game, the update also included some tweaks and fixes. The option of Safe Sprint was added to the Controls menu via the upgrade. A Skin Select menu brought forth to the game through this new update.
