Luke Hemmings has come out to talk about his life ever since they have become popular. He said that they might have started out with One Direction, but they have now made a niche for themselves with their music. This would be 5 Seconds of Summer’s first tour since they had been on their first tour as a band along with One Direction.
Luke Hemmings said that living on the fast lane has taught him to be wary of people. He doesn’t trust people easily since he feels that not all those who want to know him are genuinely interested in them. Some are there to serve their own purpose.
Luke Hemmings said that he has realized how important friends are. He said that true friends are those who never leave your side. He came out to reveal that he goes back home in Australia and spends time with his old friends. With some it feels like nothing has changed, but with the others it looks like he has to make an effort to do the most basic things.
Since the boys from 5 Seconds of Summer have been living together and are constantly on the go away from their family and friends, they have become inseparable and Hemmings has said that the boys aren’t just his friends, they are his support system.

I accept the fact that Luke and Arzaylea are together, and I don’t hate on her for the stuff she’s done. I don’t want to act like I am an expert at something that is none of my business. However, Arzaylea did do things in the past, and while she is trying to move away from it, I just don’t think I can forgive her for disrespecting the fandom and tearing us apart.
