The standard set of connectivity features that the device will sport include- 4G LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0.
International Business Times reports that the device might be announced at the Mobile World Congress 2016 which is scheduled to be held at the end of February of the coming year. It will finally see the light of the day in April 2016.
Its predecessor, the LG G4 was launched in the month of April earlier this year and the LG G3 made its debut in May 2014. Keeping this pattern in mind, it could be assumed that the G5 will most likely be revealed by LG in April 2016.
The Consumer Electronics Show 2016 could be another great opportunity for LG to introduce the high-end smartphone to the market.
The LG G5 which will pack impressive features and thus it is expected to come with a hefty price tag too. Various rumors are placing the likely price tag of the device at the $900 mark.
Fans should note that nothing has been confirmed by LG yet and thus they should take the doses of rumors revolving around the LG G5 with a pinch of salt till the claims are confirmed by an official source.
