OnePlus 3 is an upcoming smartphone from the house of OnePlus that is set to make its debut in the market in the recent future. A number of leaked images of the said device is currently doing rounds on the internet.
A Weibo user has reportedly leaked some official renders of the upcoming smartphone on the internet. The Weibo user by the name of Reviewer shared some images which appear to be some kind of a transparent case for the OnePlus 3. The device itself could be seen along with the case.
If the renders are indeed official, then the device will most likely arrive with a metallic outer body. It will be quite sleek and will have a premium appearance. From the leaks it can be seen that the rear camera module will be quite big. The flash will be placed just under the camera module of the device.
The back panel of the device will be sporting a slight curve, giving a more majestic appearance to the phone. It will be having thin bezels on its front side. The 1+ logo can be seen placed just under the flash of the smartphone. An USB Type-C port will also be built into the upcoming device.
As for the technical aspects of the device, it will sport a 5.5-inch AMOLED Full HD display. Under its hood, it will be packed with the latest Snapdragon 820 processor from the house of Qualcomm which will have a clock speed of 2.15GHz. The processor will be a quad-core one and thus the device will most likely handle multitasking with ease.
The powerful processor will be coupled with 4GB of RAM and an Adreno 530 GPU. Another variant of the device based on the RAM will be available and this one will pack a whopping 6GB RAM.
The rear camera on the device will be of 16-megapixels which will be accompanied with flash. As for its front counterpart, OnePlus 3 will be arriving with an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. It should be mentioned here that a number of images captured using the camera of the OnePlus 3 have been posted on the official Twitter handle of OnePlus. The photos were captioned with- “Check out these amazing sample shots taken with the#OnePlus3 camera. Which is your favorite?”
The photos posted are quite good in quality, given the fact that the camera department has never been the USP for OnePlus phones. The images are crisp and clear the color reproduction looks great. No sign of blur could be noticed in the images.
As for the memory department, it was reported that both the 4GB and the 6GB variants of the device will arrive in three models based on their internal memories. The base model will be packing 32GB of internal memory. The other two variants will pack 64GB and 128GB of internal storage respectively.
The device will be powered with a massive battery of 3,450mAH which will be enough to keep it up and running throughout the day. As for the OS, Android 6.0.1 is the obvious choice, however, the latest version of Android from Google will be combined with the latest version of OxygenOS for the OnePlus 3.
It has been confirmed that the unveiling of the device will take place on June 14 through a VR event. Rumors also have it that the entry level price for the OnePlus 3 will stand at 1,999 yuan, which is $305. The 4GB variant with 32GB of internal storage space will be available at this price. The high-end models will naturally come with higher price tags.
