Leaked Image for Motorola Moto Z Play Shows a 3.5mm Headphone Jack; Device Was Recently Noticed On AnTuTu

There has been a new leak featuring the Motorola Moto Z Play. It shows that the upcoming smartphone won’t be similar to the Moto Z range of devices, regarding appearance and design. According to the leaked image, Moto Z Play will have the 3.5mm headphone jack which is lacking in the recently unveiled Moto Z Force and Moto Z.

The authenticity of this image hasn’t been confirmed yet, but the source Hello Moto HK has an awesome track record of all sorts of Motorola leaks. However, there is a possibility that the 3.5mm jack will stay in the Moto Z Play.

We do not know why Lenovo and Motorola decided to retain the old hardware. According to the image, the device will also be thicker than other devices in this range.

Out of the three, Moto Z Play is certainly the bulkiest. However, there is one thing in common between Moto Z Play and the other two devices. It is the presence of a USB Type-C port.

Besides major design tweaks, Lenovo included an updated connector in this device. Meanwhile, the Z and Z Fore are not getting any headphone jack. It will be interesting to witness what other features are offered by the smartphone.

Regarding the other specs, an AnTuTu benchmark listing suggests that the device will feature a 5.5inch Super AMOLED display that comes with Full HD resolution. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor will be powering the Moto Z Play.

It includes an Adreno 506 graphics processing unit as well. Besides that, the device sports 3GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage. The phone gets a 16-megapixel camera as its rear shooter and a 5-megapixel front camera. The Z Play will be available for a price of 300 dollars.

Last month, Moto Z was seen on Geekbench, and it was also spotted on Zauba, the imports tracking website. Recently, it was spotted on AnTuTu which indicates what the handset might become when it finally launches. The leaked benchmarks suggest the presence of a 5.5inch display with a full-HD 1920X1080 pixels resolution.

According to the previous leaks, the processor will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625. According to the AnTuTu results, there will be two different versions of this handset. One of them comes with 16GB internal storage capacity along with 2GB of RAM.

The other version includes a 32GB internal storage capacity along with 3GB of RAM. Meanwhile, it will also feature 16MP camera intended for videos and photos. The 5-megapixel front-facing camera should be ideal for your selfies.

The device comes with Android Marshmallow out of the box. Motorola hasn’t said anything about the launch of this handset but from the looks of it, the company will announce it pretty soon. Once the device is announced, our website will start updating you on it.

The first thing that you will notice about the Moto Z-Droid is that it is incredibly thin. In fact, Motorola says that it is 5.19mm thin. It is quite rigid, but it is the thinnest smartphone currently available.

The back features textured stainless steel but all over, it feels like glass. On the back, the 21megapixel primary camera makes a major unfriendly bump.

However that is expected due to the thinness of this device. The Droid looks quite stylish and is neither very heavy nor aggressive. It doesn’t have a Verizon logo located in front and below the screen; you will find a small, tasteful ‘Moto’ written.
