Kobe Bryant: Retires From Basketball, Gets a Heart Warming Send-off!

In the last Lakers match, Kobe Bryant played for the first three quarters and made 28 points in just 31 minutes. He then placed himself in the side bench and mentored the young team. The Los Angeles Lakers lead by DeAngelo Russell played brilliantly, but finally lost to the Sacramento Kings 118-115.

Kobe Bryant said that he loved watching the young players play. He said that it will be very important for the young team of LA Lakers to learn how to play and close the game without a senior in the squad since they will be on their own from the next year.

Fox Sports had earlier reported that Los Angeles Lakers is not very sure about whether Kobe Bryant and D’Angelo Russell will be playing in the game against the Sacramento Kings, but then they decided to include them in the team. The decision paid off since Bryant made 28 points and Russell made 27 to give their team a quick lead.

George Karl, the coach for the Kings recalled the earlier days of Bryant and said that he was a great player ever since he joined the summer league as a 17-year-old kid.
