You will get the proof by simply looking at older Call of Duty games. A mod is actually a modification to the Call of Duty style of gameplay which permits new game modes, new maps, and recreations of other series in Call of Duty, extra content and a new paintball version of the game with much more. Treyarch further announced that there will be support for Call of Duty Black Ops 3 mods.
In February, it was announced by Treyarch Director of Development that the company is still working on the tools and then on 1st April, he revealed that the closed Black Ops 3 mods alpha was presently under development.
It was further clarified that this was not an April fool’s Joke. The details are scarce but people have already become aware of a few details. For example, Radiant is in the Black Ops 3 mods closed alpha.
In case you are not aware, Radiant is a mod tool that is used to create new single player and multiplayer maps on previous Call of Duty games. Treyarch further confirmed that when the options arrive, people will be able to create new game modes with Black Ops 3 mods.
Equipped with the mod tools that are coming next year, you will be able to create new Black Ops 3 maps as well. With the mods release, gamers will further get the files which they require to run Unranked Dedicated Servers. This will further make it possible to run servers anywhere you choose even if it comes with modded content.
