Kingdom Hearts 3 Release Date, Character Updates, Game Developer Hints That This Might Be the Final Instalment, Disney and Star Wars Worlds Expected to Be Added

The much loved and highly anticipated action role-playing game Kingdom Hearts 3 has been the subject of several speculations throughout the globe. The game, which is developed by Square Enix, is being said to pick up from where it had left off in the previous version. Recent reports have suggested that the third installment of the action role-playing game will be out in April next year.

The rumors have it that the game might also feature Marvel as well as Star World worlds in it. According to GameNGuide, the rumors about the game having elements from other worlds started generating after the cancellation of a video game project called Disney Infinity.

This action adventure sandbox game that went by the name Disney Infinity contained characters from Star Wars, Pixar, Disney, and Marvel. The word on the street is that Square Enix, the developers of the game Kingdom Hearts, might seek permission from Disney to include some of their characters.

For a long time now, the company has been playing with this idea of including characters from other worlds into the game. Thus, it was previously being speculated by enthusiasts and fans that Square Enix might include characters from both Marvel and Star Wars. However, the developers of the game will have to get the permission from Disney if they want to turn that idea into a reality.

Recently Square Enix had left fans disappointed, when at the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016 they decided not to talk about Kingdom Hearts 3. However, they did confirm that they were developing the game.

As of now, all of the focus of Square Enix is invested on the development and release of the Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. The forthcoming title is scheduled to come out during the holiday season this year for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles.

It is expected that Square Enix will shift their focus to the third part of Kingdom Hearts, after the release of the remastered version of the current title. Even though the company hasn’t yet made any official announcement as to when Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released, fans are pretty sure that it will be out some time in April 2017.

Plus, according to MOVIE NEWS GUIDE, some of the new players that the gamers will be able to use in the new version of Kingdom Hearts will be key blade masters Xenahort and Eracus. There has already been a lot of new content included in the game by the studio.

Sora will remain as the protagonist of the game. However other characters like Riku, King Mickey, Donald and Goofy will also be seen. Master Xenahort will be returning alongside some very popular Disney characters like Baymax and Rapunzel. The availability of the Disney characters has made the game extremely popular amongst youngsters.

In a recent interview with the Japanese magazine Famitsu, the developer of the game Tetsuya Nomura gave fans a few nuggets of inside information about Kingdom Hearts 3.

He stated that the upcoming sequel is overwhelmingly big. So much like the freshly released title by publisher Square Enix, it is highly probable that the game might be released in episodes.

Tetsuya Nomura said that it’s not that he has spread the story out, but that he has separated out the parts. He felt it would have ruined the tempo of Kingdom Hearts 3 if they would have been told at that point.
