Katy Perry: Teaser for Official Video of ‘Rise’ Released, DNC Performance Applauded, Spat Takes a New Turn, Parents Urge Patience

After the recent feud between Kanye West and Taylor Swift regarding the former’s track ‘Famous’, Katy apparently took a stand by tweeting ‘Rise above it all’. According to her parents who routinely play the devil’s advocate when their daughter is concerned, the fight is not over between the two pop stars.

While her mother Mary Hudson holds the belief that Katy is trying to rise above it all, according to her father the feud is far from over.

This comes at a time when the Hudsons have been asking people to pray for their daughter instead of hating her, as reported by Radar Online.

Both being ministers, they urged people to be more patient with their daughter, who had often appalled them by questioning Christianity and singing songs like ‘I Kissed A Girl,’ at the Church of Grace in Yorba Linda, California.

What do you think of Katy Perry’s new track ‘Rise’? What do you think about the whole blowing hot-cold thing between Perry and Taylor Swift? What are your views on Perry’s performance at the DNC?
