Katy Perry is an American singer songwriter and actress who was born on October 25, 1984. Perry is recently making headlines after she shared a picture of herself with her long rumored boyfriend Orlando Bloom on social media.
The couple has been quite cautiously avoiding the glaring eyes of media for quite some time. However, just in the recent past, the duo was spotted together in France. They were there for the Cannes Film Festival.
Both Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry had attended the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala event on Thursday. However, they avoided being together at the event for the fear of becoming a media frenzy.
The image that has been shared by Perry on her Instagram account is rather funny to say the least. Both of them are wearing identical bath robes in the photo and they can be seen lying across the steps of the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc. Just before the day this photo was shared by Perry, she had put up a brilliant performance at a charity gala which was held at this very hotel.
Apparently, both of them were quite tired from the events of the previous night and Perry captioned the photo with the words- “we cannes’t (sic),”. The duo has been dating since the beginning of the ongoing year, but were quite secretive about their relationship till date.
As of lately, the couple have been making more and more public appearances with each other. They were spotted having dinner with Kate Moss and Kate Hudson. On another instance, they were seen enjoying themselves on a yacht.
All being said, some rumors of Bloom cheating on Katy Perry had also started doing rounds on the internet. Apparently, Bloom was spotted together with Selena Gomez in Las Vegas in the previous week. Photos of them together quickly started circulating around the internet and fans started speculating that Bloom was cheating on Perry with Gomez.
However, all those rumors were promptly shot down by Perry when she took to social media to address the matter. She posted- “Instead of giving energy & eyeballs to dumb conspiracy, check out how cool this is.” on Twitter. Along with the post was a link. The link was to an article about some charity work that Bloom had done in Eastern Ukraine. It was done by Times.
It is clear from Perry’s words and actions that she is least bothered by the conspiracy theories that are being spread by media. The message that was posted by Perry was retweeted by Selena Gomez herself which is a clear indication that she too is not troubled with the whole issue.
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were spotted at the Miami International airport on Sunday. However, from their appearance it was clear that the couple was trying to avoid unnecessary attention.
Perry was seen wearing a long white frock along with a straw hat which had a white brim. She completed her look with chunky earrings and dark Ray-Ban sunglasses. She was also seen carrying a coral handbag.
Bloom was seen wearing a yellow zip-up shirt over a white T-shirt. A pair pf black trousers, a leather baseball cap and a pair of sunglasses completed his look. Both of the them tried to hide their face with the sunglasses and head gears.
A video of the couple singing happy birthday to Perry’s friend Markus Molinari is currently being circulated around the internet. Markus Molinari is a jewelry designer who is a close friend of Katy Perry.
