The CEO of Lionsgate, John Feltheimer has informed VC Post that John Wick 2 is a multi-title action movie franchise. The enormous success of the earlier film has put Keanu Reeves on the list of action stars.
In order to make John Wick 2 a success bigger than the first movie, Lionsgate is bringing in scriptwriter Derek Kolstad back. However, there is a lot of hush hush about the plot for the film. This has resulted in a lot of speculations and rumors doing the rounds about the anticipated film.
There are rumors that the film is going to delve on the relationship between John Wick and his mentor Marcus (Willem Dafoe). Jon Wick showed Marcus being tortured by Viggo Tarasov (Michael Nyqvist) and fans are waiting to see how Marcus comes back from that horrifying near-death experience.
