Jesse Eisenberg to Characterize Lex Luthor in Justice League: Part One, Darkseid Won’t Be THE Main Villain!

There are a lot of concerns regarding the future of DC cinematic universe. However, Jesse Eisenberg doesn’t seem to be bothered by them. He is currently wondering whether he will return as the actor playing Lex Luthor.

Batman vs. Superman ended in a predictable manner with a villain behind bars but according to the final lines of his dialogue, he had been in contact with a much greater force and it is headed straight to Earth.

This definitely seems like a possible reference to Darkseid. He is a major villain in DC Comics and this has already been hinted with the Omega signal noticed by Batman in his vision. Therefore, with Justice League: Part One, Darkseid could be introduced in the DC Cinematic Universe and from the looks of it, Lex Luthor will be making a comeback.

However, Eisenberg’s portrayal of this character is yet to be officially confirmed. At the MCM London Comic Con, the actor told the audience that he is kind of in wait and they simply started filming Justice League so he is presently waiting for a crack at it.

He jokingly revealed that he doesn’t know what he is allowed to say and feels like a drone from DC is secretly following him. If he says anything wrong, he will probably get picked off. Jesse Eisenberg later revealed that he loves it and he loves all the other actors in it and according to him, they are a talented bunch of people.

In the upcoming movie, Eisenberg will be joining Superman (Henry Cavill), Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Flash (Ezra Miller),Aquaman (Jason Momoa), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Lois Lane, played by Amy Adams and Commissioner Gordon (Willem Dafoe).

Meanwhile, Jeremy Irons played the role of Alfred Pennyworth in Dawn of Justice and recently he spoke about Zack Snyder’s comic book flick, calling it a very muddled movie. He was asked by Daily Mail about the negative reviews received by the film and he admitted that the film was deservedly criticized.

According to him, the movie was overstuffed but it still managed to take in 800 million pounds. At the same time, Irons predicts a promising future for the upcoming films in the DC Cinematic Universe. He revealed that Justice League: Part One will be a more focused narrative.

The script is more linear and smaller at the same time. Right now, Jon Berg is overseeing the day-to-day production of Justice League: Part One. Charles Roven, the Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad producer has a reduced role in the future DC films.

Reports from other sources indicate that Darkseid won’t be the main villain in Justice League: Part One. People, who saw Dawn of Justice, remember that Batman confronted Lex Luthor in prison and warned that he will always be watching him.

Luthor said that the world is vulnerable after Superman’s death and something very big is coming towards Earth. Australia Network reported that Darkseid won’t be seen too much in the upcoming film and instead, a new villain will be taking his place in Justice League: Part One.

DC Comics fans have a lot of high hopes for the upcoming movie and reports indicate that this film will be fun and light.
