The film has created a lot of buzz because it will be the first time since The Dark Knight that the character of Joker will be brought alive in the screen.
The Joker is one of the most popular villains and it has been immortalized on screen by actors like Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger. This time round, Joker will be portrayed by the multifaceted actor, Jared Leto.
Leto, is a talented actor who is the front man of the music band called Thirty Seconds to March. The actor has won an Oscar for his impeccable performance in the Dallas Buyers’ Club and he is believed to have delivered one of his best performance as the Joker.
For the role of Joker, Jared Leto had to complete change his appearance. He got tattoos all over his body, got piercings, and installed gold plates on his teeth. He had changed his physique and even colored his hair green.
David Ayer has always been a huge fan of the Joker and he owed it to his immense fondness for the character that he depicted him perfectly on screen. The Joker is a very challenging role since it tests the psyche of the actor and Ayer himself stated that he would be scared of Jared Leto since he wouldn’t come out of the mind space of the Joker even in between shots.

He had gifted his co-star Margot Robbie, who plays the role of Harley Quinn with a dead rat. The actor opened a box to find a live rat inside and had screamed out loud. However, she had soon gotten a grip on herself and ended up taking the rat home with her.
The rat that was gifted to Margot Robbie by Jared Leto is currently living with Guillermo del Toro, the director of Crimson Peak. The rat has been named Venustiano. According to Guillermo del Toro, the rat has been given over to him by Margot Robbie and has been living with them in Canada.
Jared Leto didn’t stop with the rat. Jared Leto has shared other eccentric gifts with his co-star and it is no wonder that people maintained their distance from him. Viola Davis, who plays the role of Amanda Waller has shared her thoughts on Jared Leto with the media.
In an interview with Vine Report, Viola Davis said that Jared Leto would have a henchman who would deliver all his gifts to the co-stars. On the first day of rehearsal, Jared Leto’s henchman had walked into the room and had dropped the carcass of a dead pig and walked off.
