Margot Robbie who dawns the character of Harley Quinn, the on-screen love interest of The Joker was surprised by Leto in a rather bizarre way. Once during a rehearsal, a man who plays a henchman of The Joker in the Suicide Squad walked in and handed over a box to Robbie stating that it was a gift for Harley Quinn from The Joker. As soon as she opened the box, a big black live rat reportedly jumped out of it leaving everyone dumbfounded.
This was not the only instance of Leto’s behind- the-scenes crazy antics. During the same shoot, the man playing the henchman of The Joker walked in once again and dropped a dead pig on the table saying that it was a present for the squad from The Joker. The pig had bullet holes all over it and the bullets were seen coming out of it as it was lying on the table.
A lot of anticipation has been building up regarding Leto’s portrayal of the character of The Joker and fans will be able to get a taste of his acting as the crazy maniac once Suicide Squad is released on August 5, 2016.
