Iron Man 4: Robert Downey Jr. Doesn’t Confirm His Role, Walks Out Of An Interview, And More News

Dear fans, it looks like it going to be disappointment-ville after all. Robert Downey Jr. doesn’t seem to be pushing for the role of Tony Stark aka Iron Man in Iron Man 4. He seems to be interested in something else, while Marvel is desperately trying to prepare the launching pad for the Spider-Man.

While Robert Downey Jr. has confirmed his role in several films in the next two-three years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he is mum about Iron Man 4. In earlier press meets he has said that he decided to do the Captain America: Civil Wars because of the importance of Iron Man’s role in the film.

Is it possible that he would have given up on the film had Iron Man played a less important role? It looks like with his new baby, the father Robert Downey Jr. is wanting to spend more time at home than on the sets of his films.

While we are out wondering whether Robert Downey Jr. will be a part of Iron Man 4, we ourselves don’t know for a fact if the movie is at all on the cards. There has been official word yet, but it’s possible that Marvel is planning to release the film sometime around 2018.

Fans are already speculating about the possible plot of the Iron Man 4 movie. The recent rumour doing the rounds is that Pepper Potts will be killed off in the film. The death of Captain America and the subsequent death of the woman he loves would be enough to make Tony Stark give up everything on Earth and go to outer space.

Well fans, while Iron Man 4 is years away, you will get to see your favourite millionaire donning his red iron suit in a string of Marvel films this year, starting with Avengers: Age of Ultron. Fans will also be able to witness the epic battle between Iron Man and Captain America.
