iPhone 7 Features Leaked In New 4K Video, Video Sheds Light On Three Variants Of The Handset
A recent video that was leaked about the highly awaited iPhone 7, by 4k, features three models. The video showed three phones: one 4.7-inch model, and another two 5.5-inch models side by side, thus reviving the rumors of Apple’s alleged release of iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro.
The video which was leaked by 4k was first discovered by TechTastic.nl, which is a Dutch tech blog. It was posted on Youtube by somebody going by the username BshopKuwa, which in all probability might be a Japanese iPhone reservation store.
The video showed three handsets, the first one from left to right being a 4.7-inch gold iPhone model. The second one was a silver 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Pro, while the third was a 5.5-inch, rose gold iPhone 7 Plus. Both the later devices sport a 5.5-inch screen.
The video also made it clear that the iPhone 7 Plus is packed a single lens camera, while its counterpart, the iPhone 7 Pro sported a dual lens camera. According to Neuro gadget, these two versions of 5.5-inch screen handsets were part of a rumor, started much earlier about the upcoming devices. However the rumors faded away due to lack of leaked information and images.
Speculations gathered momentum in July about the release of the iPhone 7 Pro and Plus, when a new set of leaked images surfaced online. It should be noted however that there is a marked difference between the images we saw leaked in July and the video which was leaked by 4k.
The iPhone 7 Pro featured in the July images featured a Smart Connector, whereas the one featured in the 4k video has no such accessory. At least now it is clear with these two videos that Apple was indeed considering making two versions of the iPhone 7.
Other news suggests that while Apple might have been working on two prototypes for the larger iPhone 7, the rumors have fallen on deaf ears many times. The reliable tipster Evan Blass had reported last month that this year two iPhone 7s should be released.
The code names for these, according to Evan, are Sonora and Dos Palos. An earlier report had claimed that the 5.5-inch model that was going to be produced will be named iPhone 7 Pro and will contain a dual lens camera plus 3GB of RAM.
The phones showed in the 4k video are being considered mock-ups. This is because the numbering on the models is shown to be A1429. This corresponds to the numbering scheme of iPhone 5 of Apple.
Despite being mock-ups, the video shows the design changes that are expected to be in the iPhone 7. These changes include the re-positioning of the antenna band, the presence of bigger cameras and the omission of the 3.5mm headphone jack.
In a recently released video which supposedly showed the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus showed that the smartphones were utilizing lightning Ear Pods. There was another video that showed a new blue color option for the smartphones. Also, it was confirmed in a separate report that the handsets should be endowed with 3GB RAM powering it.
As of now, there isn’t any official confirmation or statement from Apple representatives regarding this. However we shall soon be able to find out because iPhone 7 is scheduled for a release on the 16th of September, according to neuro gadget.
In spite of the fuss over a dual lens camera, many experts are skeptical of the fact that the presence of dual lens provides any improvements.
