iOS 9.2 Jailbreak: Latest Rumors and Updates, Hacker Successfully Jailbreaks iOS 9.3 Beta, Fake iOS 9.2 Jailbreaks Surface Online!

Just in the past month iOS 9.2.1 was officially released by Apple. It brought with itself several bug fixes and also worked towards fixing the security loopholes of iOS 9.2. Various rumors regarding a jailbreak for iOS 9.2 have been doing rounds on the internet for quite some time now.

It was previously reported that a particular hacker by the name of Luca Todesco was able to successfully develop a jailbreak or iOS 9.2.1 while it was in its beta stage. However, this person abstained from releasing the jailbreaking tool for the common public.

Though this caused disappointment among fans of jailbroken iOS, it also showed the world that jailbreaking of iOS 9.2.1 was indeed possible. It is being speculated that renowned jailbreaking teams- Pangu and TaiG might have already developed jailbreaking tools for iOS 9.2.

Todesco recently claimed that he has managed to jailbreak the iOS 9.3 beta too. However, once again he has stated that he will not release the tool for the common public.

However, the hacking teams are abstaining from releasing the jailbreak at the moment because iOS 9.3 beta was just rolled out by Apple. Apparently, they might be waiting for the official version of iOS 9.3 to release before they make the jailbreak tool public.

A renowned website reported that a particular hacker has been able to jailbreak iOS 9.3 beta. This unknown hacker reportedly promised to release the jailbreak for the common public after Apple releases the fully functional version of iOS 9.3.

Since the beta version of iOS 9.3 has already been rolled out by Apple, it won’t be long before the fully functional version of the said iOS is released by the company. Fans are speculating that the jailbreaks for iOS 9.2.1 and iOS 9.3 might be released at the same time after iOS 9.3 is officially rolled out by Apple.

If indeed jailbreaks for both iOS 9.2.1 and iOS 9.3 are released together, fans can expect that the jailbreak for iOS 9.3 will be less stable and secure compared to the jailbreak of iOS 9.2.1. The reason for this is that the hackers are able to work on a fully functional version with iOS 9.2.1. However, they would not get the same facility with iOS 9.3 which is still in its beta stage.

However, it should be noted that if indeed Pangu releases a jailbreak for iOS 9.2, it will most likely have no effect on iOS 9.2.1. The reason behind this could be accounted to the fact that the exploits of iOS 9.2 that the hacking team utilizes to jailbreak it will be fixed in the 9.2.1 version.

A developer by the name of enMTW recently stated that a fully functional jailbreaking tool for iOS 9.2 will soon be available for fans. He further added that eventually the iOS 9.2.1 will also be jailbroken by hackers.

This particular announcement came via a video which claimed that the jailbreaking tool will be released in March. In the past it has been seen that the developers of jailbreaking tools take some time to release the Mac version of any particular jailbreak tool.

However, in the video, enMTW claimed that it will not be the case with the upcoming jailbreak tool as a Mac version of it will be available right at release.

The last time a fully functional jailbreaking tool was released, it was for the iOS 9.0 – iOS 9.0.2. However, with iOS 9.1, Apple buffed up the security measures of the iOS big-time and since then hacking teams have been finding it difficult to find exploits in the iOS which could be used to jailbreak it.
