The GT/CS package is available on both fastbacks and convertibles at the ongoing 2016 North American International Auto Show in Detroit and the 2016 Ford Mustang GT California Special is a Premium Convertible in Deep Impact Blue.
In the 2016 Mustang GT/CS Convertible, you will notice 19 inch wheels with black painted pockets and a machined face; black painted hood vents which come with integrated turn signal indicators, a Ford performance front splitter, and a unique faux gas cap.
There is also a unique decklid spoiler with unique upper and lower grille inserts with the vintage “Tri Bar Pony Logo”. It further sports a set of black stripes on the doors and hoods. The 2016 Ford Mustang GT California Special comes with a lot of interesting stuff inside.
It receives premium floor mats with red stitching, black leather/suede seats with red stitching, unique black door inserts with red stitching and a package-specific dash plaque. Ford ended up choosing blue for the Detroit Show.
Meanwhile, with this package, you get some extra performance. This comes in the form of a unique strut tower brace under the hood which brings improvement to the engine bay and chassis stiffness when you are making those tight impressive corners.
