HTC 10 Mini to Hit the Market by September 2016, Rumored Specs of the Device Viewed at A Glance!

Just in the recent past, Taiwanese tech Giant made an announcement regarding their next flagship smartphone, the HTC 10. New reports are coming in which suggest that HTC is already gearing up to launch a mini version of the HTC 10 which will be named HTC 10 Mini.

In the past it was seen that Apple launched a smaller iPhone which packed quite impressive specs. In fact, the specs were identical to the ones found in the smartphones of the iPhone 6 lineup. The iPhone SE was launched to cater to the needs of people who prefer a smaller smartphone in their hands.

The device has been able to garner positive reactions since its launch as a number of people are finding it quite useful and also comfortable to hold. As mentioned above the device packs similar specs which are found in the devices of the iPhone 6 series. So despite being small, the device did not lack in the technical department.

HTC is planning to take a similar path and introduce a mini version of the HTC 10. The device was reportedly leaked in a memo and it was seen that it sports a 4.7-inch display. It should be noted here that iPhone SE has a screen size of just 4-inches and thus on comparing it to the HTC 10 Mini, the latter might not look like a typical mini phone.

However, most of the recent smartphones come with screen sizes which are more than 5-inches. Keeping that in mind, a 4.7-inch smartphone is quite rare and in that context it can be dubbed as a mini phone. The display resolution on the screen will most likely be 1920 x 1080 pixels.

As for its outer appearance, it will be similar to that of the HTC 10. The HTC 10 has chamfered edges and an all-metal body. Reports suggest that the same could be found in the HTC 10 mini, since it is a device of the HTC 10 lineup itself. If indeed the design of both the phones are same, the HTC 10 Mini will come with a physical home button. A fingerprint scanner will be built into the home button.

One of the rumors that is doing rounds on the internet regarding the device suggest that it will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor under its hood. If indeed the device is powered with a Snapdragon 823, in a way it will be even more advanced than the HTC 10 since it comes with a Snapdragon 820 SOC.

Qualcomm is yet to make an announcement for the Snapdragon 823, however, rumors have it that the processor will be able to support a maximum CPU speed of 3.0 GHz. It could be mentioned here that the maximum CPU speed that the Snapdragon 820 is capable of churning out is 2.2 GHz.

The powerful processor will be combined with 4GB of Ram which will make the device lightning fast. Also included will be a dedicated GPU to provide best experience with gaming and playing videos.

As for the HTC 10, several teasers for the device has already been released by HTC. The Taiwanese company claimed that the device will be loaded with the best BoomSound yet. A teaser released in this regard stated- “Not all music is created equal. Hi-res audio so every note is crystal clear. You’ll hear it. 4/12 #powerof10.”

Since the HTC 10 Mini is a smaller version of the HTC 10, chances are high that the same BoomSound technology is also used in it. HTC claimed that this particular BoomSound will reportedly offer- “the highest-quality sound possible” and “flawless high fidelity on your phone.”
