Gran Turismo Director Kazunori Yamauchi Talks about PS3 Development Struggles, GT Sport Will Be Targeting First-Time Players and Beginners!

The console runs on the standard ‘x86’ processor.  Such general improvements were acknowledged by Yamauchi during the IGN interview where he said that PS4 is a great piece of hardware that was able to meet their requirements and expectations.

A side-by-side comparison of Gran Turismo Sport and Gran Turismo 6 was created by YouTuber MotoGamesTV. Both games featured Brands Hatch, Willow Springs, and Nürburgring. From the video, you will see a lot of major visual enhancements. GT Sport features the combination of a new lighting engine along with the excellent natural composition of the environment.

However, GT Sport’s sound is not hidden by the beautiful visuals. Polyphony hasn’t finalized on the sound engine yet, but it is better to stay unimpressed for the time being. No use is getting your hopes up and having them crushed later.

Polyphony Digital declared earlier that the upcoming Gran Turismo Sport is not Gran Turismo 7. Instead, one can see it as Gran Turismo 6.5. From the looks of it, the developers are still working on Gran Turismo 7, and the upcoming GT Sport is simply a way to tease fans of a better GT 7.

Stay tuned for more updates on Gran Turismo Sport!
