GoPro Hero 5 and GoPro Karma Ready for a 2016 Release, GoPro’s Market Share Slides Due to Delay in Launching the Hero 5!

Heading back to the GoPro Karma now, experts believe that GoPro has a long way to go with the Karma, since the competition in this market segment is huge, with numerous multi-billion dollar companies fighting for a piece of the market.

Even though GoPro’s technological achievements will give the company a head-start over any other organization in this field, they need to continuously work on upgraded technology and implement those in to the products to stay afloat.

GoPro advertised the Karma saying that the video capturing quality along with its balance is phenomenal while its usage knows no boundaries. Quadcopter-mounted cameras are now used for a wide variety of activities, ranging from capturing videos at weddings to area surveillance, filmmaking, music events and news coverage, etc.

Hence, it is safe to assume that the market for the product is huge. GoPro’s strong after sales service plays a massive role in acquiring their target sales figures in the sports-action camera department, and if they manage to provide similar backup in this department, the GoPro Karma should do quite well for itself and the brand.

  1. Can you say “GUINEA PIG” ?

As much as I would like to purchase the Hero 5, I think GoPro is so driven by the stock market that it MUST deliver something even if it’s loaded with bugs for the consumer to deal with.
Think of all the years we dealt with Microsoft OS releases. They’re still doing fixes for Windows 95.
I hope I’m wrong about GoPro, I’ve been holding off on any purchase till I could see some technology that would get me out of my Nikon.
