Gamers should expect to witness two major projects by Square Enix at Gamescom 2015 in Cologne, Germany. This is Europe’s largest gaming convention and it will play host to awesome new Final Fantasy XV details. Furthermore, fans will be able to witness Just Cause 3 for the first time as well.

According to Square Enix, Final Fantasy XV will be the main event at this show. Final Fantasy XV is a highly anticipated entry but it was skipped off in E3 2015. Hence, this is the perfect event to showcase it. Reports indicate that Square Enix has planned a lot and prepared a great deal of stuff for the final revelation.

Spectators will get to see exciting new details along with well-known personalities. At the same time, Square Enix has promised to showcase a lot of new information on several new projects like that of Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward, Life is Strange, Dragon Quest Heroes and the best part is that there will be playable versions in over 200 game stations.

Besides all of these highly anticipated titles, Square Enix will definitely have a lot of gamer attention on upcoming titles like Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and a new iteration in the Hitman series. Joining all of these titles is of course Avalanche Studio’s explosive open-world title, Just Cause 3. Furthermore, it will be playable at this convention!

Quoting Phil Rogers, CEO of Square Enix America/Europe, “At this year’s E3 we presented one of our biggest line-ups in years including several new games reveals. At Gamescom 2015 we will set another mark with the biggest show in our history”.

He further declared that the company is happy to present their exceptional portfolio of games to industrial representatives and enthusiastic gamers all over the world. According to him, it doesn’t matter if it’s Dragon Quest, Just Cause 3, Final Fantasy, Deus Ex or Hitman, “Square Enix presents its biggest franchises large-scale.”

Meanwhile, if we are to believe a recent leak in a gameplay video, the upcoming critically anticipated role-playing game Final Fantasy XV will have a new PC version. Reports suggest that Square Enix is currently working on the PC version of its highly anticipated video game series. As a result, the developers weren’t able to specify the official release date of this upcoming title. However, Gamescom will take place from 6-9th August in Cologne, Germany.

If you recollect earlier reports, you will notice that game developer Square Enix declared that it will be releasing Final Fantasy XV for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 but they failed to announce anything regarding a possible PC release.

As reported by Venture Capital Post, PC Gamers even made a signature campaign. In the end of June 2015, the campaign received around 13,000 signatures. However, recent reports claim that Final Fantasy XV has been under development for quite some time but the PC edition is being modified right now with the news of Windows 10 release later this month.

The developers are probably working hard to make it compatible with Windows 10. As for us, we can expect that the PC version will be rolled out a few weeks after the official release on present generation Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles. However, take it with a pinch a salt, as Square Enix is yet to confirm or deny either of these reports.

Square Enix is definitely dreaming great this year as the publisher will be hosting an 1100 square meter booth with the show floor having more than 200 game stations. The attendees of this event will be able to play some of the highest anticipated titles from now and beyond.
