Games Get Improved with Leading Female Roles in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and Halo 5, Concept Art behind Syndicate’s Victorian London Is Mesmerizing, And More Details

These days, major fall releases like Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Fallout 4, Halo 5, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and many more, permit players to choose a female character. The most exciting fact about these titles is that the women are not chosen based on their looks or sexuality. Instead, their selection depends on prowess, strength and intelligence.

his is a new development that was being anticipated for a long time but the idea has finally achieved fruition. This is mainly because gamers want the addition of more diverse representations in the franchises that they love and furthermore, with the addition of women, the game is simply brought to life.

Laura Bailey provides capture and vocals to new female Spartan Olympia Vale in Halo 5: Guardians and then there is also Victoria Atkin, who performs as Evie Frye in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. This is her first ever video game. Bailey and Atkin were both spoken to, after the release of each of these titles and not-surprisingly, they described their characters to be strong. It is a trait that they instantly search for, when they are taking on auditions or roles.

Bailey considers it really important as she grew up playing video games and according to her, getting involved in the industry is pretty awesome. She was pretty excited while taking on her first role in the series, especially considering the fact that she is a Halo fan.

Furthermore, she became one of its first playable female Spartans and that turned things far more exciting. Bailey explained that her character in Halo 5, her character was a diplomat before she became a Spartan. As a result, her character is quite interested in culture and looking at things from a different perspective.

The intellect and cultural sensitivity in her character was combined with a powerful and raging attack power. Meanwhile, in case of Atkin, she really wanted to play as an action heroine and as a result, she was immediately attracted to Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. Atkin was looking for something different from the soap opera work that she did on television with British drama Hollyoaks.

With her role in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, she was instantly able to satisfy her deepest desires. She plays the role of an attractive young assassin and some of the male characters in the game get pretty interested in her.

However, she is mainly focused on the mission. However, Evie wasn’t going to become a purely romantic or sexual object in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and that is why Atkin was highly interested in playing this role.

Meanwhile, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’s Nineteenth Century London is a city that includes major contradictions and contrasts. Thierry Dansereau, the art director, explained a lot of details in a new book, The Art of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. In there, he talked about ““The splendor and colors of Buckingham’s gardens and the majesty of the architecture reveal opulence and pomp, the same way that workhouses and smoke-spewing factories reveal degradation and poverty.”

Now the best thing about the above description is that you can see all of it, inside the game! The world in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate features smoking towers rising into the skyline and the neighborhoods range from the posh and class to the poor and downtrodden.

You are bound to have lots of fun, while climbing up buildings and scanning the entire location, or simply enjoying the view and walking through unfamiliar streets. You can end up doing a lot of things, starting from running across boats on the Thames or getting into the nasty underground fight clubs.
