Game Of Thrones: Tyrion And Jorah Hit Obstacles, Last Episode Shocked Fans, Sophie Turner Enjoyed It, And More

Game of Thrones Season 5 is half way through and fans just can’t keep their excitements in check. True to its essence Game of Thrones Season 5 has been delivering one exciting episode after another. With six episodes done and four more to go, the action is picking up and a week seems like a long wait for the fans to see what’s next.

The title of the sixth episode, “Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken” is borrowed from the House of Martell and it had some shocking incidents that will see the women characters shaken up.

This season of Game of Thrones is again going to have Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) become a bride, this time to the disgusting Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon). Ramsay is insane and we know that since the last season of Game of Thrones.

Ramsay had been informed that Sansa is a virgin, but he doesn’t trust Littlefinger (Aiden Gillen) and violates her in front of Theon (Alfie Allen). The viewers watch the whole incident through Theon’s eyes and it is horrifying.

Fans were aghast at what happened and those who haven’t read the book were sure that this scene was added by the showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss to shift viewer sentiments.

Sophie Turner in an interview with Entertainment Weekly said that since the first season, the viewers have been a little confused about how they feel for Sansa. She had lied and manipulated situations to her benefit on several occasion. The fact that she had teamed up with Littlefinger had made viewers cynical about her.

With this incident the viewers sympathise with Sansa and she gets to enjoy their support and sympathy. Sophie feels that the writers have tried to change Sansa from a character who was being hated to one who is the most abused and manipulated.
