Filming of Fast and Furious 8 To Take Place in Iceland, Might Be Featuring Charlize Theron as The Antagonist!

The three-film trilogy that will bring an epic conclusion to the Fast and Furious series of films will begin with Fast and Furious 8 and it will be followed by Fast and Furious 9 and Fast and Furious 10.

Fast and Furious 8 will be the next addition to the immensely popular Fast and Furious series of films featuring action sequences, car racing and daring heists. A number of rumors regarding this particular film have been doing rounds on the internet for quite some time now.

The latest batch of rumors suggest that the character of Sean Boswell, who was one of the frontline characters of Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift will play a major role in the upcoming movie. This character was played by Lucas Black and he is expected to come back to reprise his role once again for Fast 8.

Apart from Lucas Black, Fast 8 will reportedly feature other characters from Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drifty in it. Vin Diesel’s character Dominic Toretto was seen visiting Tokyo in Fast and Furious 7 after Han played by Sung Kang was killed by Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw.

Black had earlier stated that he would be having scenes in upcoming Fast and Furious movies that include Fast and Furious8, 9 and 10. It is this that sparked rumors that he would be seen in the upcoming movie.

Some reports even suggest that Sean Boswell will be the new right hand of Dominic Toretto. The untimely death of Paul Walker forced the filmmakers to remove his character of Brian O’ Connor form the franchise. Lucas Black’s Sean Boswell might be seen taking his place in some form or manner in the upcoming film.

The character of Monica who is a S. Customs Agent was played by Eva Mendes in 2 Fast 2 Furious. This character will also reportedly be present in Fast 8.

Another rumor that is floating around suggest that Cara Delevingne will be present in the movie. Now in the past, Cara Delevingne has had a relationship with Michelle Rodriguez who plays the character of Letty Ortiz in the Fast and Furious series.

Fans are quite excited to know about her reaction regarding her ex-girlfriend joining the cast of Fast 8. However, it was reported that the actress has no issue regarding the matter. She would even be happy if actually Cara Delevingne is roped in for Fast 8.

Vin Diesel had previously revealed the official poster for the film which showed the city of New York. This had led to speculations that a major part of the filming process will be carried out in New York.

However, a renowned website reported that filming will also take place in Iceland. According to the report a number of vehicles that included the likes of snazzy supercars and trucks were seen arriving in Iceland. Some military-looking machinery was also seen alongside the cars and trucks.

The reports also claim that a major man-made explosion will be filmed in the icy-country. Apparently, it will be the largest man-made explosion that has ever been filmed in the country.

The site further added that a number of tracked vehicles, armored Ram trucks and various other machineries were provided to Universal Studios by Howe and Howe Technologies. All of these will be used during the filming of the movie.

It was previously reported that the filmmakers were trying to rope in Angelina Jolie to play the role of the antagonist in the film. Michelle Rodriguez came forward and stated that it would be great to have Jolie in the movie and she would love to work beside her. However, no concrete news regarding the matter is available as of yet.
