When FIFA 16 is compared to PES 2016, the latter looks absolutely brilliant. When the camera closes up on player reactions during replays, you will notice how beautiful it looks and the way they watch the wall when it is close around them looks amazing as well. PES also incorporates a lot of gameplay improvements and it’s not just the looks.
Crossing and attacking is where PES 2016 excels. Furthermore, the slide tackles in this game are far more responsive and it also allows you to angle the direction in which the slide should curve in. There is also a stance that allows you to shift your weight in order to counter your opponent and it looks impressive.
PES 2016 is amazing, but there are some areas where FIFA 2016 excels over PES. However, the demo for FIFA 16 is not coming to consoles for a long time and it will be released merely weeks before the official release of FIFA 2016.
Until that happens, a comparison between these two titles is difficult but the Gamescom experience clearly reveals that there is still hope for FIFA. Based on the gameplay demo, PES 2016 looks amazing and promises to offer an exhilarating experience for players.
Furthermore, this is also the toughest rival in the PES franchise ever since FIFA emerged as the leader in football simulation games.
