Recently in an auction conducted by Mecum, the original stunt car of the late Fast and the Furious actor, Paul Walker was sold for a whopping $18,500 which is close to 1,200,000 euros.

It was the original Toyota Supra driven by Late Paul Walker in the first edition of the film. One of the main reasons for the stunt car attracting such a high amount is because it was this car which started the popular Fast and the Furious franchise.

The car is fitted with a powerful 2JZE engine powered with 6 cylinders and produces a massive 220 horsepower, 19 speed gear transmission and NOS. The car was one of the 58 cars that were engineered by Eddie Paul for the movie.

All these cars have full role cage, competition seats, highly strengthened tanks for fuel and suspensions built for rough use. The car also has enormous rear wheels, Yokohama tyres, alloy wheels, body kit which also has body graphics on it. The car was designed to withstand any kind of terrain and was a stunt car in true sense!

The car did earn a massive amount, but experts say that the final bid did fall short by quite a margin. According to experts the car was expected to fetch $2,00,000 but the figure fell shot by $80,000 at the Mecum Auction held in Indianapolis.

This car is recognized as the one which was used by Walker in the ultimate race where he makes these hot wheels jump over rail tracks. The car has been closely associated with Paul Walkers fame until his death in November 2013.

It was Fast and the Furious that brought Paul Walker to fame and it was very tragic to have him pass away in 2013. He was already shooting for Fast and the Furious 7, but could not wait to see the end of the film.
