While the fans were shocked with the news, they have stopped cheering the return of the Wild Cats.
It has been quite some time since High School Musical 3 had released, and the actors in the original have grown. As reported by Yibada, Disney might consider getting new teenage cast for High School Musical 4. However, the fans have been urging the network to bring in Vanessa Hudgens and Zack Efron in their role of Gabriella Montez and Troy Bolton.
There hasn’t been any confirmation on the story for High School Musical 4 and hence the fans have no idea whether the story of Troy and Gabriella is going to be the focus of the upcoming film. Efron hasn’t been able to make much of an impact in Hollywood while Hudgens has found a place for herself on Broadway, there is no surety on whether they will want to come back to High School Musical 4.
However, the fans of these two actors are of the opinion that both Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens should come back for High School Musical if they are asked to since it was this franchise that gave them the position that they now enjoy.
The two of them had even started dating thanks to the first three parts but have separated since. The fans feel that the estranged couple owe this much to the fans and should make it a reality if it so requires.

While the two of them of were spotted together, there have been rumors that they are working together, but there is no official confirmation on this.

The two of them had a gala time, and they even shared selfies from the night. They went on to praise Selena Gomez for her rocking concert and expressed their love for each other.
The two girls might have played the role of rivals on screen in High School Musical, but then they became the best of friends off screen.
