There is a fan theory that believes that Meera Reed and Jon Snow might be twins. Some fans have tried to figure out why Meera Reed was kept in the series and that her role couldn’t be limited to only dragging Bran around. There are some who believe that the real identity of Jon Snow is known by Meera’s father, Howland Reed since he was there with Ned when they rescued Lyanna from Rhaeger.
There is a possibility that Lyanna gave birth to another baby after Bran moves from the scene. This would cause Ned Stark to beg his friend to take the baby girl back with him, to hide her from the wrath of Robert Baratheon.
According to Digital Spy, both Jon Snow and Meera Reed (Ellie Kendrick) look similar and her presence in the series was brought back immediately after Jon Snow’s parentage was revealed to the audience. Meera doesn’t have any idea about this arc but is interested in exploring more of it.
