Freeman has been highly celebrated for his roles in The Hobbit Trilogy, Fargo, Sherlock and much more. He also earned one BAFTA award and one Primetime Emmy Award for his portrayal of Doctor Watson in Sherlock. Furthermore, he has been nominated for a Golden Globe award due to his role of Lester Nygaard in Fargo, with further nominations for two Emmy and two BAFTA awards. His latest endeavors include hosting SNL and filming Tina Fey’s untitled Wartime Black Comedy.

In other news, Joe and Anthony Russo’s Captain America Civil War will launch what is known as the Phase 3 of Marvel Cinematic Universe, which will ultimately lead to the already mentioned two-part film of Avengers: Infinity War. According to the latest reports, an official plot synopsis of Captain America Civil War was released online and it promises an epic battle between Iron Man and Captain America. According to this synopsis:

“The events of the Age of Ultron left an imprint on the world, the collective governments of the world pass an act designed to regulate all superhuman activity. This polarizes opinion amongst the Avengers, causing two factions to side with Iron Man or Captain America, which causes an epic battle between former allies.”
