Meanwhile, Pete Hines, Vice President of PR and Marketing at Bethesda Studios suggested that the upcoming game might be called Skyrim 2. Pete Hines said that it is rare to have franchises like the ones they have and witness people joking about when “Skyrim” might come out.
It was also Hines who further said that the development team was totally focused on Fallout 4, therefore concentrating on Elder Scrolls 6 at the moment, is not an option. Thankfully, the last DLC for Fallout 4 has already been completed and released to the game which should indicate that the developers are currently focusing on the development of Elder Scrolls 6.
Earlier, the company said that it was highly unlikely for them to release the game this year but it seems that gamers are not ready to throw in the towel yet. Bethesda has already announced that they will be participating in the E3 2016 event to be held in June.
This resulted in a new round of expectations set off by fans and gamers, especially those who are rooting for Elder Scrolls 6. Bethesda is yet to figure out the games they are planning to roll out during this event.
