Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is an upcoming role-playing video game that is being developed by Dimps. The game will be published by Bandai Namco Games. Its predecessor is Dragon Ball Xenoverse which was released for PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One back in February 2016. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 was confirmed in May 2016.
A number of rumors regarding the upcoming game are currently floating around the internet. the latest reports state that a developer of the game will be present at the Japan Expo 2016. Fans in Europe will be able to play the game at the upcoming event.
Confirmation has also been received from Bandai Namco that Masayuki Hirano, the producer of the game will also be present at the said event. The Japan Expo 2016 will be held at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center in Paris, France. It will kick off on July 17th and will continue till July 10th.
As per reports, a lot of details about the upcoming game will be revealed at the Japan event. Hirano will be indulging in signings at the event. He will also be doing some interviews with the media about the upcoming game. That apart, fans will be able to ask questions to him about the game and also his career.
As for the game, it is being rumored that it will be rolled out by Bandai Namco within the ongoing year. Some previous rumors related to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 stated that it might be rolled out in the month of November in Japan.
It should be stated here that the game will have likely have an earlier release in Japan. Fans of the game in North America and Europe will be able to get their hands on it a little while after it is rolled out in Japan. It is likely that these two continents will see the release of the game within 2016.
However, if it is not released in North America and Europe within 2016, it will most likely be rolled out by early next year in these two continents. Some other reports pertaining to the game suggest that it might be rolled out only for PC and Xbox One outside Japan.
This has caused a lot of unrest among fans of the game who own a PlayStation 4 outside of Japan. It looks like they will not be able to play the game on the console of their choice when it is rolled out.
As for the fans in Japan, there is nothing to worry as it has been confirmed that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will release in the country for PlayStation 4. That apart, it will also release for PC and Xbox One in Japan.
A trailer has been released for the game and it has been revealed though it that the game will feature much improved graphics compared to its predecessor. Looks like the developers have given a major overhaul to the game in the graphics department.
It has also been revealed that fans will have greater customization options for the characters that they create within the game. The game will feature a number of additional characters that were not present in the first game. These characters are reportedly from the Dragon Ball anime and manga series.
The video portrays the death of Goku’s father Bardock which is quite shocking for the fans. Bardock meets his death at the hands of Frieza. The death of Bardock is not the only death to feature in the video.
It also shows the death of Future Gohan too. Gohan is seen being killed by Android 17 and Android 18 in the video. The death of Gohan will affect Trunks and he was seen standing over Gohan’s dead body.
