The show creator told Wrap that it would be hard replicating the kind of popularity the show has garnered over the last five years. It had gone on to become the first international show in the history of Emmy Award to get so many nominations and also win the awards in the respective categories.
With a lot of interest about Downton Abbey Season 6, the creator and the network is working hard to keep things under wrap from the prying eyes of the media and the fans. In spite of this, there is report that Tom Branson, played by Allen Leech is back from America or he never ended up going there.
In the upcoming season it is likely that Mr. Carson (Jim Carter) is going to get married to Ms. Hughes (Phyllis Logan). Also spotted on the set were Tom Cullen and Matthew Goode. This hints that they are still vying for Lady Mary’s affection.
I’m really hoping the Julian Fellowes brings more of the Henry Talbot character to be involved with Lady Mary……A much better match than the others who vied for her hand in marriage….
She needs someone like Matthew and he is the best one for the job including all the others.
