Dishonored 2 Details TBA at E3 2015, Predecessor Declared Free on the PlayStation Plus!

Details regarding Dishonored 2 are expected soon, and it seems like gamers didn’t have to wait long for it either. This greatly anticipated sequel to the Best-Action-Adventure Game of 2012 will soon be revealed to the public. Furthermore, details regarding the gameplay and release date will be announced in E3 this year. There have been a lot of rumors and speculations regarding the upcoming sequel to this multi-award-wining-action-adventure franchise.

According to certain reports found online, Bethesda is gearing up to reveal Dishonored 2 details in June, during the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015. It will take place in Los Angeles Convention Center, from 16th to 18th June. However, Developer Arkane Studios or Bethesda hasn’t provided any official confirmation yet. Hence, fans are simply hopeful that a mere release date might be announced.

Keep in mind that during last year’s E3 2014, a fact sheet erupted, leaking information about the much-speculated sequel. According to that alleged fact sheet, Dishonored 2 was slated for a 2016 release for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms. Details regarding gameplay suggest a new location called Tyvia, a-versus multiplayer feature along with new characters. The rumor, however, was busted by Bethesda with an official declaration, ‘’we don’t comment on rumor or speculation,’’ according to VG247.

Dishonored 2 will be officially released on the present generation consoles. Hence, as a part of promotional efforts for this upcoming stealth-adventure title, PlayStation Plus is making ‘Dishonored’ free for its subscribers, during the month of April. According to official reports on PlayStation EU Twitter account, Dishonored became the very first game for the PlayStation Plus free-game lineup. Further reports indicate that Developer Arkane Studios and Bethesda Softworks are currently busy developing the game.

Meanwhile, keep in mind that Dishonored was released for the PS3, Xbox 360 and the PC in October 2012. As a result, the sequel will most likely come out for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 after a period of three years. However, the possibility of a release date on October is quite possible but for now, this is just a speculation.
