Director Brad Bird Starting To Write ‘The Incredibles 2’, New Release Date and Plot Details Revealed!

At the investor meeting in March 2014, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced that Pixar was developing two more sequels along with the upcoming “Finding Dory” and “Toy Story 4”. These sequels are believed to be “The Incredibles 2” and “Cars 3”. The latter will serve as the follow-up to the hit animated film, which relates the story of the Parr family, featuring a family of superheroes from director/writer Brad Bird.

Bird confirmed that the film is on its way while speaking to NPR this week. He revealed that they had just started to write it, and hence they’ll have to wait and watch what happens. Movie-goers wish to experience the sequel for the upcoming The Incredibles movie. The first film ended with a cliffhanger, where the entire family geared up to fight against a villain known as ‘The Cliffhanger’. Throughout the years, several plot lines have been predicted. The most persistent rumors claim that it will pick up on the Underminer storyline.

Many critics believe that there will be a major time jump between the first and the second movie where all the kids have grown up and Jack-Jack, the youngest, is now in his pre-teen years. Currently, no official director has been announced for this upcoming film. There is no release date for this film bit Pixar has already announced June 15, 2018 and 22nd November 2017 for their upcoming projects. It has been rumored that these are the dates when the audience will witness ‘The Incredibles 2’ and ‘Cars 3’. Meanwhile, it’s still uncertain as to which film will premiere before the other.

Brad Bird, who created several Simpson’s characters and made Ratatouille, declared to America’s NPR that the film’s development was “percolating”. Since they have just started to write it, patience is a must for viewers, at the moment. The 2004 film was directed and written by Brad Bird and released by Disney. It is often rated as one of the best-animated films, ever to be made. It won two Academy Awards along with several other nominations.
