With Daredevil coming out with their second season, there’s a whole lot of buzz about the plot for the season. The first trailer of the upcoming season was released at the recently held Comic Con Experience that took place in Brazil.
However, the trailer was only unveiled for the visitors at the Comic Con and it wasn’t allowed to be shown outside of the event. With this regulation in place, there was massive security around the arena and fans were not allowed to make videos or take photographs of the new trailer.
While the organizers stopped the fans from making videos and taking photos of the trailer of Daredevil 2, there were fans who saw the video with minute precision and narrated out what was the matter of the video in details for the others.
Christian Post reported that the trailer for Daredevil Season 2 starts off with Matt Murdock in his Daredevil outfit. He appears to be walking inside a refrigerator that has meat hanging all around from the ceiling. After a point of time, Daredevil realizes that the meat hanging from the ceiling are humans.
Before this realization can sink in, the viewers see that one of the victims is still alive. Matt Murdock also realizes the same. He starts interrogating the survivor and finds out that the perpetrator of this violence is a man. Matt keeps quiet and the camera focuses on his face.
In the next scene, Matt Murdock is seen standing on a balcony. A new character comes in, this is Frank Castle also called The Punisher. He is a sniper and as he is about to pull the trigger at someone when Daredevil kicks his gun.
The two then get into a combat. The scene ends with the logo of Daredevil Season 2 coming up followed with the words Netflix and 2016.
The current news circulating on the internet is that Elektra will be joining the cast of Daredevil Season 2. There has been no official news on this matter, but a fan has taken photos that show Elodie Yung dressed up in the costume of Elektra Natchios on the sets of Daredevil Season 2.
The first trailer from the season had hinted that Elektra will be joining Daredevil Season 2, but this was the first time that the character’s look was disclosed to the public. The onlooker who had shot the photo had explained the scene that he saw being shot.
It was a combat with Elektra and Daredevil (Charlie Cox) fighting an enemy. There is an instance when the police appear and intervenes and Frank Castle or The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) gets involved. However, none of these could be substantiated because the image was of very low resolution.
The fans of Elektra are very excited to see her cut and slice through things in the television adaption of Daredevil’s story, but there is one person who isn’t very happy about the scenario and that would be the creator of the comic book character Elektra.
Daredevil and Elektra share a long past. The film adaptation of Daredevil which starred Ben Affleck had Jennifer Garner play the role of Elektra.
For Season 2 Daredevil, Elodie Yung will be Elektra. Elektra is a mysterious woman who had been a part of Matt Murdock’s past and her charms and antics sometimes becomes too much for the hero to handle.
Frank Miller while talking to the audience at the Brazil Comic Con Experience said that he isn’t thrilled with the fact that Elektra will be introduced in Daredevil’s world. He said that the creators of Daredevil Season 2 can go ahead and name the character whatever they want, but she isn’t Elektra.
