Clash of Clans: Supercell to hold its first ever community event-ClashCon, Latest update adds brand new aspect to the game, Clash of Clans coming to Tokyo!

According to initial reports another big update is headed towards the fans at the ClashCon scheduled for October 24. This update is rumored to be a big one and will bring significant changes to the game strategically.

Finnish company Supercell Oy is bringing the Clash of Clans franchise to the Tokyo Game Show for the first with an aim to increase the user growth rate in a market which is yet to experience the aforesaid company’s domination.

Tokyo Game Show, the biggest gaming event in Japan will feature Supercell’s booth which will have two-storey-high LED-walls showcasing different characters from the popular building-strategy mobile game. Visitors can try out the game and watch live battles inside the booth.

Clash of Clans has been a regular topper in the revenue rankings in countries like the U.S., Russia, Turkey and India but has failed to hold its place in Japan. It ranked seventh in Japan in July. Supercell has struggled to match the success of Clash of Clans in other countries to that of Japan.

According to Buddy Marini, the head of Supercell’s Japan operations, the company is aiming to increase the game’s popularity in the country by holding live events such as the one to be held at the Tokyo Game Show.

Stay tuned for the latest updates on Clash of Clans!
