Reports state that the Skyjacked map which is set on an enormous heli-carrier is a remade version of one of the multiplayer maps of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 called Hijacked.
The Rise map which might turn out to be another vertical map will allow players to run on walls and test the game’s jumping modes. It is reportedly a remake of the Silo map of Call of Duty: Black Ops 1.
The Splash map will see players fighting it out in a pirate style water-park. It is normal for the developers to use an amusement park in the game as it has already been done by them before.
The Image released for the Gauntlet shows three settings, a snowy setting, a jungle-like setting and an urban city-like setting. It is being assumed that this map will be the best of the lot and will offer the most intriguing gameplay amongst all the maps.
The expansion pack will make its appearance for the PS4 first and then for Xbox One and PC. According to a renowned website, the DLC will be released for PS4 on January 26, 2015. The versions for Xbox One and PC will come in the following month on February 25.
