The two women hadn’t met each other until Sunday night. It was on the occasion of a special screening of Caitlyn Jenner’s documentary series ‘I Am Cait’. The occasion saw some noted transgender ladies coming together to celebrate the special moment. The event even saw leading actress Candis Cayne.
Laverne Cox shared photos of the evening on her Instagram account. The Orange Is the New Black actress was wearing a cropped black top and had her hair open in soft curls. Caitlyn Jenner looked classy in a white top and blue jeans.
Laverne Cox told in an interview that she had always wanted to meet Caitlyn Jenner. She even said that Jenner had even consulted her before the leap and she felt grateful that Jenner thought of asking her opinion before going for the bog change.
Laverne Cox said that she was deeply moved by I Am Cait. She said that Caitlyn Jenner’s family has been very supportive and it goes on to prove that their love and devotion for her is great.
