2K announced that WCW legend and two-times World Heavyweight Champion Bill Goldberg will be appearing as a playable character in WWE 2K17 as a pre-order exclusive. He will appear on gaming consoles in the latest addition of the franchise.
His latest appearance in a pre-order trailer indicates his ascendance to the host of previous pre-order characters Arnold Schwarzenegger and Hall of Famers like Sting and Ultimate Warrior. During a recent interview with WWE, Bill Goldberg declared that it is like a dream come true for him. Coming back and being included in WWE 2K17 is a major honor for him. It is really cool to end up as a character in WWE 2K17.
It could be Halloween Havoc or Nitro but being included as a playable character is simply great and it’s a good tribute. Gamers who have acquired the WWE 2K17 Pre-order Bonus, will receive two Goldberg versions along with two known venues where he wrestled previously. The playable character variant parallels to his time in WCW and WWE.

According to 2K, its annual wrestling simulation game franchise will return with WWE 2K17 this year. Fans can already pre-order the upcoming game and receive Bill Goldberg as a playable character. He returned back in 2004 and made a comeback in 2015. The upcoming game will celebrate his championship careers in the WCW and WWE.
Meanwhile, people who pre-order this game will get codes which are redeemable for two different characters for Goldberg. They will represent his stints in WCW and WWE. The pre-order buyers will receive two different playable arenas which are inspired by Halloween Havoc and WCW Monday Nitro.
A trailer was released on Tuesday and it made a Suplex City reference. It has been suggested that WWE Superstar Brock Lesnar will appear in the game. We have no idea whether, Gilberg, Goldberg’s parody counterpart, will be featured in the upcoming WWE 2K17. Chris Snyder, 2K’s Vice President of Marketing, declared that Goldberg with return with two playable characters and 2 playable arenas.
