Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Will Have Plot Links with Aquaman and Suicide Squad!

DC Comics and Warner Bros. have revealed the first look of Aquaman in the new Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice film that will release in 2018. The role of Aquaman is being played by Jason Momoa of The Game of Thrones fame.

Mamoa is on an all time high in his career with his role as a DC comic hero and he was seen signing autographs for his fans with the latest poster featuring him. He has also gone on to create some controversy with his comments regarding Marvel.

There is report that Momoa is also set to feature in the stand alone film with the King of Atlantis. There has been no official news about the plot or the characters in the film. The reports and rumours have only gone into increasing the interest in the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film. This report of an upcoming film on Aquaman is being seen as a publicity move to keep the interest piqued about the upcoming film.

There has been a lot of speculation about the supposed story for the Aquaman movie. There are numerous ways in which the plot can be planned, but it is expected that the plot for Aquaman is going to kick off from his role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. No matter what the plot is Zack Snyder’s treatment is expected to recreate Aquaman as a hunk of a super-hero.

Fans worldwide are wondering if Warner and DC are collaborating to come out with the origin of the Justice League. Given the plot line for ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’, the flashback is only to be expected. With Aquaman featuring very much in the picture, some fans are speculating that there might be a chance of the film following the plot of the 2015 cartoon Justice League: The Throne of Atlantis.

Readers of DC comics are well aware of Aquaman’s beginning, but the cartoon depicts a certain Arthur Curry, who realises that he is half-Atlantean and becomes an ally of the Justice League, to protect his watery kingdom against the siege of his half-brother, the Ocean Master. Batman, Superman, Flash, Green Lantern, Shazam, Wonder Woman and Cyborg come to Aquaman’s rescue and help him claim the throne.
