Balrog Introduced In Street Fighter 5, Capcom Reveals Story Mode, ESPN2 To Air Evo 2016 Final!

The fans of Street Fighter will be happy to know that Capcom had released the story mode for Street Fighter 5, and it shows a conflict that will take place in New York City and will bridge the gap that was present between the last two installments. The story mode will not let the players pick a fighter, but will go through all the 16 base game combatants and the six new characters that are going to be included in the DLC.

The biggest annual tournament for fighting games, the Evolution Championship Series, is going to be a huge one this year since there are quite a large number of participants who have signed up for Street Fighter. Given the kind of popularity that the event has gathered, ESPN2 has decided to live broadcast the finals.

The vice president of programming and acquisitions for ESPN Digital Media said that they are always trying to serve the growing number of audience for competitive gaming, and they want to deliver to the viewers with the live broadcast and streaming of Evo 2016. With Street Fighter 5 matches being aired by ESPN, this will be the network’s most recent attempt to get involved with e-sport.

Street Fighter 5 is going to be available on both the PlayStation 4 and PC. The updates didn’t meet their schedules but look like things are on track now.
