Asus Zenfone 2 64GB Price and Release Date Revealed, Being Compared to the HTC Desire Eye, And More

Recently, Asus released the Zenfone 2, which was primarily promised in the homeland of Taiwan. The basic 5 inch version of the device will cost an equivalent $158 without any form of subsidies. For the entry level Zenfone 2 smartphone, this is to be considered a great price. However, people have their eyes focused on the decked-out Asus Zenfone 2, which is the 4GB RAM model with a 5.5inch 1080p display along with 32GB storage out-of-the-box.

In Taiwan, the device will be priced at 8990NT$ which is equivalent to around USD 285. It is a pretty awesome price tag for such a beast. However, it is expected that when the Zenfone starts rolling out globally, the pricing will be a bit higher than anticipated. In the meantime, it seems like Asus has nailed it completely this time.

Reports indicate that Asus will also have a 64GB variant of this device, and it was listed on its global website as well. The 64GB model has been codenamed ZE551ML and has an official release date. Reports indicate that Asus will start rolling them out at noon on March 23rd.  It will be the highest priced model of the entire lineup.

Asus is currently listing it for 9900 NT$ which is equivalent to around 318 dollars. Even then, it is a pretty great pricing for a device with a gigantic 4GB RAM and 64 gigabytes of internal storage. The Zenfone 2 models will start travelling to China, Singapore, Hong Kong and France. In April, they will be released in Southeast Asia, Italy and India. In the meantime, Brazil can start expecting them in June.
