The latest paid DLC for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, named ‘Jack the Ripper’ will be released on 15th December and will cost around $14.99. A trailer was also recently released by Ubisoft in order to provide fans with a surreal feeling of heading back in time and hunting down one of the most notorious killers of all time, in world history.
Jack the Ripper for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will arrive on 15th December for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platform. Meanwhile, the PC version will receive this DLC on 22nd December. According to GameSpot, the story in this DLC is se 20 years after the completion of the main game.
There will be no additional charges for Season Pass holders in order to receive this game. They will further receive “The Last Maharaja” mission pack, “A Long Night” mission, “Streets of London “gameplay pack, two top-tier sets of gear and weapons, along with an exclusive XP boost. All of these along with future paid DLC will be available for a price of $29.99.
The Assassin’s Creed Syndicate team has spent more than a year in the creation of the Jack the Ripper DLC. This was stated on PlayStation Blog by Benjamin Dumaz, Lead Mission Designer of Ubisoft. The developers are pretty proud of what they have created and are definitely looking forward to its exciting release.
Dumaz further revealed that the team created content around the illusive and notorious serial killer of Britain, Jack the Ripper. The team was able to fabricate a fictional story around the infamous Whitechapel serial killer since the original story is chock-filled of blanks and rumors.
Keep in mind that this DLC will not at all be easy since he is a skilled assassin like Evie Frye. It is said that the new Fear System will be present in the upcoming DLC. Gamers will have the chance to take advantage of the friendly fire option or scare the adversaries away.

It is a 2-minute, non-interactive video clip showing Jack the Ripper running through a darkened London.
This is certainly quite interesting since this is a very early project from a game studio which claimed to be embracing VR in a big way. In fact, Eagle Flight for PlayStation VR is a full game that was announced by Ubisoft earlier this month. Ubisoft declared that presently it has five studios that are working on VR projects.
Furthermore, Ubisoft remains a relatively early supporter of Razer’s OSVR standard. However, with headsets like PlayStation VR yet to be released, it is still difficult to predict how successful these projects actually will be.
The trailer clearly shows that Ubisoft is confident enough to release one of its VR experiments even though it doesn’t tell us what Ubisoft’s high-end games in the future will actually look like.
