Ashton Kutcher has always been someone to support projects and initiatives and is also known to be a philanthropist. The actor recently donated to a cause that pays towards supporting different school projects. The actor joined hands with DonorsChoose.org to pay towards three projects in 132 schools around Kansas and 30 projects in Iowa.
Ashton Kutcher said that he owes his teacher for what he has in life today and in order to make the schools days better for the kids, he has decided to take UP the initiative. The DonorsChoose.org have contributed to buying drums for a class on world music, books for their literature class and computers.
Movie News Guide reported that along with other celebrities, Ashton Kutcher had donated over $14 million. This isn’t the only charity that he is involved with. He has also contributed and worked with charities like Artists for Peace and Justice, GEMS, Habitat for Humanity, Chrysalis, All Day Foundation and has even joined hands with UNICEF.
Ashton Kutcher’s work towards bettering the lives of people have placed him in the list of the world’s most influential people who are below the age of 40. The list was recently drawn up by the World Economic Forum and there are 122 men and women who have been listed under it.
Apart from Kutcher, the list has Amal Clooney, who is a barrister specializing in human rights law, Emmanuel Macron, the economy minister of France and also Peter Rutland, who is one of the partner in CVC Capitals.
The World Economic Forum informed The Telegraph that they have chosen young and tech-savvy innovators who have provided solution to help break down barriers and bridge cultures and different sectors together. Their work has panned across private, public and civil organizations.
