After the Apple Watch was opened, it was noticed that the insides are filled with tiny components. A person will require special tools in order to open its outsides, while removing the tri-wing screws inside the watch.
There are a lot of replaceable parts inside the watch like the Taptic engine, battery and speaker among others. It is expected that soon it will be possible to replace a damaged screen.
In the meantime, there is a lot of unique hardware under its hood. The processor, major part of the system board and many of the other ICs are completely encased in a molding compound.
